Report: Clippers' Blake Griffin Broke His Hand By Hitting Team Equipment Staffer

Griffin is expected to miss multiple weeks due to the injury.

Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin broke his hand during a fight with a team equipment staffer, according to ESPN. Griffin is expected to miss several weeks due to the injury.

The Clippers are currently fourth in the Western Conference. Griffin has already been inactive since late December with a quad injury.

ESPN reports the altercation began in a restaurant in Toronto. "Griffin hit the man, who then left the restaurant and went outside. Griffin followed him outside and hit him again. [...] The equipment staffer's face was injured and he was treated at a local hospital, sources told Eaves. Both Griffin and the equipment staffer were sent home after the incident."

The Clippers play the Pacers in Indiana Tuesday night.
